Sourced from select blocks on a single vineyard site in Yallingup, Margaret River. A portion is put to quality French oak barriques and undergoes partial malolactic fermentation and then maturation in for 8 months. Then it is blended with the stainless portion to retain freshness and acidity. Handling of quality Chardonnay fruit has come full circle, with a focus on fresh varietal characters and preserving some natural fruit acidity, coupled with controlled quality oak. This wine is a great example.
